13 Days Tour From Casablanca To Casablanca

Day 1 : Casablanca \ Rabat \Meknes.

Will we collect you from your hotel to visit the Hassan II Mosque It is the largest mosque in the kingdom and the fifth largest mosque in the world. It stands on a promontory looking out on the Atlantic, before departing to Rabat. In Rabat you can visit to the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will depart to Meknes to arrive early evening. Dinner is at a restaurant overlooking the square opposite the Bab Mansour gate.

Day 2 : Meknes \ Volubilis \ Fez.

After breakfast we will tour Meknes, including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the city rampart. We will then depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the Holy town and an important place of pilgrimage where the founder of Morocco’s first dynasty is buried. After we are finished here, we will continue onto Fes. Dinner and accommodation is in a traditional riad.

3 Day : Just In Fez.

After breakfast in your Riad, you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all of the sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Karaouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum and Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we will see Hispano-Moorish buildings, the Medersas, and Nejjarine. We will also visit the tile cooperative and then take in a wonderful panoramique view over the whole medina of Fes.

Day 4 : Fez \ Ifran \ Azrou \ Midelt \ Ziz Valley \ Erfoud \ Merzouga Dunes.

Breakfast is early this morning so we can start our journey to Merzouga. Along the way, we will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forest of Azrou, where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue on to Midelt, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch and a rest, we will continue through the Ziz Valley towards Erfoud. We will see numerous fortified villages built in the pre-Saharan oases. We will arriving at the dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) and overnight accommodation will be in the Kasbah.

Day 5 : Sahara Desert Exploration 4×4 & Camel Trek For Sunset.

After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive into the flat landscape on the edge of Erg Chebbi, the largest sand dunes in Morocco. We will search for the black tents of the nomads located in the middle of nowhere. We will stop to visit with a nomadic family. Here we will have tea and have a glimpse into what nomadic life in the desert is like. We continue our drive and discover more about the nomadic life of the Touareg people by visiting Alkhamliya, a village that has not changed throughout the centuries. Lunch can either be in Alkhamliya village or we can head back to our hotel for lunch. There is time to relax a bit until it is time to meet our camels. You will ride camels into the majestic high dunes of Erg Chebbi. It is a fascinating experience and as the sun lowers in the sky, the dunes light up so beautifully. Here you will have a chance to take some spectacular photographs. After we reach our camp, you will be served a bountiful Berber feast and enjoy the desert culture of music and drums. Take time to fascinate over the huge stars of the desert sky. Overnight is in a luxurious desert camp.

Day 6 : Merzouga \ Toudgha Gorges \ Dades Valley.

Wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise in the desert. Afterwards you will take a peaceful camel-trek back to the hotel, once again appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes and the quiet of the desert. After breakfast and a shower at the hotel, we continue our trip to the Tinghir and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. The day ends in Dades Valley where we will have dinner and accommodation in a hotel.

Day 7 : Dades Valley \ Rose Valley \ Ouarzazate.

After breakfast in the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs, providing numerous opportunities to take some of the best photographic shots of the trip. Today you will have the opportunity to meet Berber Nomads in their caves. Along the way we will pass through the fertile Rose valley and many interesting rock formations. If you like, we can stop in Kalaat M’gouna, “The Rose City”, to purchase the rosewater. This may be used to add scent to your linen. Continuing on to Skoura and the Birds Valley where you will visit the Kasbah Amridil. Dinner and overnigh is in Ouarzazate.

Day 8 : Ouarzazate \ Ait Ben Haddou \ Ouarzazate \ Telouet \ Marrakech.

Visit the town of Ouarzazate, well known as a famous film center. Here, many movies are filmed inluding Bable, Secret of Sahara, the Mummy, and the Prince of Pursia. We will also visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After, we continue our tour as we visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. Here, we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka and head to Marrakech. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in will be in a beautiful, traditional riad.

Day 9 : Marrakech \ Cultural Visit :

After breakfast, all day will be devoted to visiting Marrakech, the “Pearl of the South”. This ancient city was founded in the eleventh century. In the morning we will visit the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs, the garden of the Menara and the Bahia Palace. Afterwards, we will return back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the souks, the Medina and Jemaa El Fna square. In the evening, dinner is in Jemaa El Fna, where you will experience the nightlife in the sqaure.

Day 10 : Marrakech To Ourika Valley.

After breakfast we will take a tour Ourika Valley and see the Berber villages on the top hills of the green and red mountains. Here there is the possibility of visiting a Berber house to learn how to make green tea! It is advised to wear your hiking shoes because there are small waterfalls to climb to at the footsteps of the high atlas mountains.

Day 11 : Marrakech To Essaouira.

Departure at 9:00 from your hotel towards the Atlantic coast and the city of Essaouira, located 170 km from the Red City of Marrakech. Lunch is at the harbor and then you will have free time to explore the medina and the ancient monuments of Mellah (Jewish quarter), the Skala and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah Museum. We recommend that you watch the beautiful sunset and while sipping a mojito on the terrace of Taros Cafe. Browse the medina and spot the Thuya wood crafts that Essaouira well known for. Dinner and overnight in hotel or riad in the medina.

Day 12 : Essaouira To Marrakech.

We will spend the morning in Essaouira relaxing or walking along the beach before leaving for Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 13 : Marrakech To Casablanca.

Breakfast and drive to Casablanca where you will be dropped off at the airport according to your flight schedule.
