Morocco:

Morocco is a country in North Africa on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, is distinguished by its Berber, Arab and European influences. The Medina of Marrakech, a medieval neighborhood with the appearance of a labyrinth, is a lively place, with its Jemaa el-Fna square and souks (markets) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The Kasbah Oudayas in Rabat, the capital, is a royal fort of the twelfth century overlooking the ocean.

Marrakech:

Marrakech, former imperial city of western Morocco, and a major economic center with mosques, palaces and gardens. The Medina is a fortified and densely populated medieval city dating from the Berber Empire, with alleys intertwined like a labyrinth, where lively souks (markets) sell fabrics, pottery and traditional jewelry. Symbol of the city, the minaret of the 12th century Koutoubia Moorish mosque can be seen for miles.

Fez:

Fez is a city in northeastern Morocco often considered as the cultural capital of the country. It is mainly famous for the fortified medina of Fez El Bali, with medieval merinide architecture, lively souks and old-fashioned atmosphere. The medina houses religious schools such as the Bou Inania and Al Attarine Medersas dating back to the 14th century, both decorated with carved cedar panels and delicate mosaics.

Chefchaouen:

Chefchaouen, is a city located in the Rif mountains, north-west of Morocco. It is famous for the remarkable buildings of different tones of faded blue of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled alleys. In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the casbah with red walls, fortress and dungeon of the fifteenth century with ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there.

It is known for its sites of interest, which illustrate both the Islamic heritage and French colonial, including the kasbah Oudayas. This royal fort of the Berber era is surrounded by formal French-style gardens and overlooks the ocean. The city’s iconic Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret, dominates the remains of a mosque.
