14 Days Tour From Casablanca To Casablanca and Sahara

Day 1: Casablanca to Coast to Rabat.

Upon your arrival at the Casablanca airport, we will pick you up at the airport and then drive to Rabat. Here, you will visit the Hassan II Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and Chellah Necropolis. Next you will have lunch on the Corniche. Overnight is accommodated in a beautiful traditional riad in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat to Wazzan to Chefchaouen.
After eating breakfast in your riad, we will drive north to Chefchaouen and the Rif Mountains, travelling through Wazzan and other Rif villages. We will be in Chefchaouen early afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in a beautiful riad.
Day 3: Exploring Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore Chefchaoune. Known as the Blue City, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco. The medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, and roof-top restaurants and cafes. Here you will enjoy the beauty of this blue and white fortress.Dinner and overnight accommodation is in the same riad as the night before.
Day 4: Chefchaouen to Wazzan to Volubilis to Meknes .
After your breakfast in the riad, our authentic journey will start towards volubilis crossing via Wazan and other rif villages. In Volubilis, we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site and its Moroccan history. After visiting the ruins, we arrive in the early afternoon in Meknes. Here you will meet your local guide and you will visit Bab Mansour gate, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and Dar El Makhzen palace. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in a beautiful riad.
Day 5: Meknes to Fes Sightseeing.
After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to Fes where you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco. Intertwined with small streets and alleys, your tour starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah in Morocco, built in the 16th century in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all of the sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then take in a wonderful panoramic view over the medina of Fes. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in a beautiful riad.
Day 6: Fez to Ifran to Mountains to Midelt.
After breakfast, you will have a free morning to explore or shop more in Fes. At mid-day we will leave Fes, travelling towards Ifran. Ifran is a beautiful mountain village, referred to as “The Switzerland of Morocco.” During this journey, you will see the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – you may be able to see some Barbary monkeys. After spending some time in the forest, our journey continues to Midelt, located along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in a hotel.
Day 7: Midelt to Ziz Valley to Erfoud to Merzouga to Camel Trek and night of Glamping.
After breakfast in your hotel, you will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge. Taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidi, Here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Afterwards, you will travel along the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud. We will arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you start your camel ride to the desert camp. Dinner, Berber music, and over night in a Berber desert camp in a luxurious tent with beds and a toilet.
Day 8 : Merzouga to Rissani to Todra Gorges to Dades Valley.
After breakfast, you will return by camel to the vehicle and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud, you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains en route to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you walk the base of the the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. Then continue your journey towards the impressive Dades Gorge passing the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills. Dinner and overnight in a traditional hotel in Dades Valley.
Day 9: Dades Gorge to Ouarzazate to Mountains to Marrakech.
After an early breakfast, you will set off towards the High Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, you will see one of the jewels of Morocco, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path. In actuality, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco. Some of these films include, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and recently, The Gladiator. Lunch will be at Ait Ben Haddou.
In the afternoon, you will head over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation are in a beautiful riad.
Day 10: Exploring Marrakech.
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue the tour, visiting the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the main attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk market lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other treasures of Morocco. The evening is free to explore. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in the same riad as the previos night.
Day 11: Marrakech to Essaouira.
The hustle and bustle of Marrakech quickly slips away as you enter into the peace and beauty that is Essaouira. This ancient citadel is located on the West Atlantic coast of Africa. Essaouira literally means “wall” in the Berber language, and you’ll soon discover why. Travellers from all over the world come here to experience the beauty of the ocean, and to explore its diverse and unique history. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in a hotel.
Day 12: In the Morning Explore Essaouira.
This is a free day in Essaouira where you have the chance to wander the ancient streets and imagine what life has come before us. The streets have a Portuguese feel, since the city was claimed and renamed in the 16th century by the Portuguese as a port city of their own. Here you can dine on fish straight out of the sea at many local restaurants. You can enjoy walking the beach, take a surf lesson or go horseback riding. In the evening, don’t miss the beautiful sunset over the ocean! Dinner and accommodation in the same hotel as the previous night.
Day 13: Essaouira to Casablanca.
After breakfast in the riad, we will drive the coast road to Casablanca. Here, we will visit to the Hassan II mosque and stop by the famous Rick’s Cafe. Dinner and overnight in a beautiful riad.
Day 14: Casablanca – Transfer to the airport where we will finish the trip.
