Marrakech to Marrakech

Day 1 : Marrakech \ Ait Ben Haddou \ Ouarzazate \ Dades Valley. 

In the morning, from Marrakech we head to the High Atlas Mountains and we cross the T’ichka Pass (2.260 m). We will stop the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where the famous films of Asterix were filmed. After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, we will drive through Magouna Roses to Dades Valley where you will end your day with dinner at your hotel.

Day 2 : Dades \ Gorge Of Dades \ Erfoud \ Rissani \ Merzouga.

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive through the Dades Valley, where we will stop to take some panoramic photos and then pass through the famous Todra Gorges. Here, we will relax over a glass of tea before we drive to Erfoud. At Erfoud, we deviate off the track to head towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga where we will meet our camels. The magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes during sunset are a beautiful sight! We arrive at the Berber camp where we will enjoy dinner and traditional singing and drums. It will be an unforgettable night in the middle of the desert. Don’t forget to look up at the huge, bright stars in the dark desert sky! Dinner and accommodation in a desert camp.

Day 3 : Merzouga \ Errachidia \ Midelt \ Azrou \ Fez.

After breakfast, we depart to Fes, via Rissani, the ancient economic capital of Morocco. We will continue toward the Ziz Valley, crossing through Tafilalet and enjoying the panoramic views of the palm groves and gorges. Next, we will arrive at Azrou, where we can see the amazing landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Cedars Forest. Hopefully we can spot the wild monkeys who roam free in the forest. Afterwards, we will pass by Ifrane, the so-called “The Moroccan Switzerland.” In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez where we will have dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 : Visit Fez.

In the morning, you will have a guided visit of Fes, the cultural and religious capital, and the oldest of the imperial cities of the country, You will see the Royal Palace and walk along the Jewish quarter, and into the impressive Medina with its typical craftsmen shops and neighborhoods. You will also see the outside of the mosque, the Koranic School, the Bouanania, and the Quaraouiyne University. Lunch will be in a typical restaurant in the medina. When your day if over, you head back to the riad.

Day 5 : Fez \ Volubilis \ Meknas \ Rabat.

After breakfast, we depart from Fez to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. After exploring Volubilis, we will continue towards Meknes, and visit the city linked to the name of Moulay Ismail, the great sultan of the Alouit dynasty. We will see the walled medina of the city, the Bab Mansour door and the Hedim square. After lunch here, we will departure for Rabat, the administrative capital of the country. Dinner and accommodation is in Rabat.

Day 6: Rabat \ Casablanca \ Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will take in a panoramic view of the Royal Palace exterior and its gardens. Next, we depart to Casablanca. Here we will have lunch and panoramic view of the economic capital of the country. We will visit of the outside of the Hassan II Mosque and get to know the most emblematic points of the city, such as the Corniche Boulevard, the Park of Nations and the Mohammed V square. Afterwards, we proceed to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 7 : Visit Marrakech.

City tour of Marrakech, including the famous DJemaa el Fna square, the Bahia palace, the Saadi tombs, and the Dar si Saïd Museum. Free lunch in the medina and then we will visit to the non tourist side of the souk to discover the peculiar district of the boilermakers. Afterwards, we return to the riad.

Day 8 : Marrakech airport or any location.

After breakfast we will take you to the airport where we will finish the trip.
